What is kinktober? Sorry if I’m missing something about it on your blog that would explain it.
Okay, ummm do you know such a thing as an inctober or a drawtober etc? It’s the same, only every day you do things with different kinks. So Arc and Mims write fanfic, where every day a new kink. And I just make some sketches for their stories, because I like them a lot.

The Wild Hunt has many variations depending on the region (Scandinavia, Germany, Ireland, England etc) , so I see why you are a bit confused. I can only give a brief description:
The Wild Hunt is a folk myth of a ghostly leader and his group of hunters and hounds flying through the cold night sky, accompanied by the sounds of the howling wind. The hunters may be either elves or fairies or the dead.
You shouldn’t look at The Wild Hunt. Seeing the Wild Hunt was thought to presage some catastrophe. In some versions of the myth, those who meet the gaze of the Wild Hunter will die on the spot, in some -you will be torn apart by dogs, or you will turns into a driven animal, until the dogs catch up with you. People encountering the Hunt might also be abducted to the underworld or the fairy kingdom.

You are right across the board. I’d also include the Erlking too, but up to you. There is one piece of context that might not be clear: I’ve been basically dodging around writing a long sexy Wild Hunt-style story for at this point literally years. I have had the concept ready in like my last four fandoms and I still haven’t done it. So this is like round seven of me hinting at the story while once again not writing it.
djkfhaskjdhf I am glad that you and everyone is enjoying the Kinktober thing. it has to go on a soft pause for a bit though now bc when we *started* the project, we spent the last week of September writing so we would have a backlog of Dreams to post. Then Mims and I each ran into the usual daily life problems, and now we are behind. You may have noticed no 18 October chapter is up yet. The good news is I have a new Ambitious idea I'm working on, but it'll take a bit to get the dreams up. Sorry!

Dirk is a very old genie. He had many masters and not all of them were good (one of the reasons why Dirk created the list of rules). He has been to many parts of the world in all this time, and he has a large collection of various things and artifacts. So when Jake gets into Dirk’s lamp, he is very excited. “Oh my gods Dirk, you have quite an impressive collection here! Can i have a closer look?” “Sure. feel free.” So Jake spends a lot of time exploring the collections, asking Dirk about them. Dirk talks about some with pleasure and avoids talking about others. But in the end they spend nice time together.
Jake is also a very old genie but unlike Dirk his lamp has been lost all this time. He was locked up in his small dwelling and he was extremely happy when Dirk found his lamp. so if Dirk ever gets into the lamp with Jake it will be like “wow dude, looking at you i thought your place would be stuffed with various shit like ancient scrolls or a bunch of skulls. But this place looks so…ugh i dunno…empty” “Well, perhaps it is, since I have been trapped here until now” “trapped?” “Yes, I can’t leave the lamp until I have a master. You’re the first.” “and how long have you been here?” “I umm…I don’t know. I lost count a long time ago.” awkward silence hung in the air “but you know Dirk, I’m glad, I’m really glad you found me :)”
I just had the funniest thought. Dirk is enjoying himself and rests his eyes for just a moment. Suddenly avatar Jake is poking dirks cheek and Dirk just shrieks
you know what will be even funnier? it’s not even a dream created by jake, it’s just a dream now they will just haunt him
